COVID Safety Plan
Your role in the plan
In an effort to keep both our clinicians and clients safe, we kindly ask that you follow these safety protocols for each appointment:
Complete your COVID screener up to 24 hours prior to your session.
Arrive 1 minute before your session. Only bring in essential items.
Adults are asked to wear a mask for the duration of the session.
Sanitize your hands upon entering the therapy space.
Please call to cancel your appointment or switch to teletherapy if:
You or anyone in your household has been sick or is experiencing any respiratory symptoms, cough, fever, headache, sore throat, etc.
You or anyone in your family have travelled outside of the Interior Health region in the last 14 days.
Thank you for your compliance, cooperation and understanding.
Our role in the plan
Client COVID screeners will be checked prior to each appointment. If a screener is not completed online, one will be completed verbally prior to the session.
A mask is worn by the clinician for the duration of the session, unless treatment warrants otherwise. In circumstances where the clinician needs to remove the mask, other safety precautions such as shields and distancing are used to protect your safety.
Materials and surfaces are sanitized between each client.
If the clinician is exhibiting any COVID-19 symptoms, including cough, runny nose, or fever, the clinician will not provide in-person services.
Appropriate contact tracing measures will be taken, as outlined by the BCCDC, should they been necessary.
